Moonstar, an AI robot for disinfecting aircraft

The problem

During COVID, aircraft needed to be disinfected. The robot sprays disinfectant on board.

What I decided

I decided the form of the robot and designed its software UI, working with the engineers. I held the title Chief of Product and UI/UX Designer and was the only designer on the project. Others on the project were a sales manager, a product manager and four or more engineers.

Outcome

We built a physical prototype. By the later stage of the design COVID had eased, so the robot did not launch.
